Capitol Hill Meditation Group

with Tuere Sala

6:30 PM – 8:30 PM at All Pilgrims Church enter on Republican (Map)

The Capitol Hill Meditation Group is a drop-in group dedicated to supporting the meditation practice of people living in the Seattle area.  Previous Vipassana practice and/or previous attendance at an beginning mediation class is helpful but not essential.

The group is led by Tuere Sala at All Pilgrims Church, 500 Broadway East, Seattle. Please enter via the south side of the church on Republican.

Parking: There is often street parking but you may have to pay for it. If you spend $10 on groceries at QFC you can park in their garage for “free” for the first hour and another $5 for the second hour. If you do a “big” shop (maybe $50+) they’ll give you more validation.

The 30 minute sit begins at 6:30 PM with a Dharma talk and discussion until about 8:30 PM.

For more information please post your questions below and we will respond.

  1. Hello. My friend Sigal recommended that I check out this group and it sounds lovely and fitting to my interest in practice and sangha. I live on Cap Hill and have been attending classes at the Shambhala center for a year or so. Hope to see u all soon for the sit at 7. I get out of work late.
    Thank you.

  2. Greetings all!

I joined you last night; this is Holly, the petite redhead gal from Washington DC. Thank you for the lovely evening! I so enjoyed meeting you all and discussing the sutra and more.
If any of you fun-natured folks are interested in sharing a social experience here in Seattle, I’d love to hear from you. I leave Wednesday morning, and am hoping to get a biking and kayaking experience in sometime before leaving, even if brief.
Again, what a great sangha you have. I hope to see you again soon.

  3. Hello 🙂 I’m wondering if zafu/cushion is available or should one bring their own?
