March Schedule – The Four Right Efforts

We are starting a new month and a new topic.  During the month of March
we will talk about the Four Right Efforts.  They are Restraint,
Abandonment, Cultivation and Preservation.  Intentionally practicing
with these right efforts can support you in developing positive mind
states and the energy necessary for cultivating insight.  We will talk
generally about the four Tonight.  We will talk about restraint and
abandonment this month and then finish up with cultivation and
preservation next month.   I know several of you are listening to
Rodney’s discussions on dependant origination.  These talks will not
conflict with that work and may even enhance your practice.  As usual,
we will read a Sutta on the fourth Thursday unless someone volunteers to
lead the talk.
